If you want to catch little fish, you can stay in the shallow water. But if you want to catch the big fish, you've got to go deeper.

Down deep, the fish are more powerful and more pure. They're huge and abstract. And they're very beautiful.

The talk of moonrise today caused me to thumb back (skipping around) looking for the photo of a moon over the black of water that I liked.

But, oh. Just 1/10 of sec. as this image flew by I HAD to go back. So beautiful. I only knew of one place with water so blue. I didn't recognize the name Llao Rock. I took the time to google it.

YES! Oh yes, That triggered even more memories of our 1981 visit.. our 1 year vacation (as it turned out).

I first learned of Crater Lake through a National Geographic in junior high school. I wrote a report on it.

Maybe there is something to seeking out and storing memories for later retrieval.

Here is it 5 minutes later and the memory is so strong and the picture is absent from my view... and not missed.
