"Each time you perfect a mantra, you are like a master musician who can evoke elevated states of being from the instrument of self." (-Yogi Bhajan)
In a house in the hill country of central Texas tonight, 8 people practiced yoga, and chanted a couple of mantras, shared yogi tea and dark chocolate. Everyone agreed it had been too long since the last class before the holidays. A small white ceramic origami crane was on the floor near the teacher. It held a tea candle that gave out warmth on a cold night. The practice was dedicated to being 'happy, healthy, whole and prosperous.' It was offered to those in our lives who could use some support. I can see the white crane, the hardwood floor reflecting the dancing light of the crane.
